JUNIOR ACADEMY FOCUS: UNDER 15 ELITE

Our first Junior Academy focus this week comes from our Under 15 Elite side who were winners in their game at the weekend.

The objectives before the game were to have lots of energy and show desire when defending our penalty area and in front of the goal.

Despite falling behind early on, it was a good response with a lot of time spent in the opposition’s penalty area creating chances.

The Young Silkmen scored two well-worked goals to take the lead and were decisive in front of goal.

After being pegged back, the reaction was good with us retaking the lead just before the interval.

In the second half, decision-making was much better in front of goal.

Macc scored three times in the second half with all team members impacting the game.

It was a great reaction and a deserved victory after a good week in training.
