In a week where a number of games fell foul to the weather, however, a number of players still managed to find game time.
Elliot Whitehouse captained Peterborough Sports on Saturday as they fell to a narrow defeat away at Radcliffe in the Enterprise National League North.
Dontai Gabidon and Hyde United had a free Saturday as they will go again next weekend away to Warrington Town in a bid to push up the Northern Premier League table.
Newcastle Town played out a 1-1 draw with Stafford Rangers at the Red Industries Stadium – defender Jayden Kirk played the opening 45 minutes for Castle in the all-Staffordshire clash in the Northern Premier League West Division.
In the North West Counties Premier Division, only 60 minutes were played for Cameron Bradbury-Allen’s Stockport Town as their game against Prestwich Heys was abandoned with the score 1-0 to Heys at the time.
Foley Meir managed to finally play a league game in the North West Counties Division One South. Ethan Anderton and Harry Motley have joined the Club on Dual Registration terms and we would like to pass our congratulations onto them both for their move. Anderton, Motley and Fin Foote all came off the bench as Meir were unfortunately defeated 5-1 away at Stockport Georgians.
