Macclesfield FC are delighted to announce the signing of full-back Luis Lacey.
The 20 year old joins the Silkmen following his departure from fellow Enterprise National League North side Curzon Ashton.
Lacey has been training with John Rooney’s side for a number of weeks and has featured in a number of our pre-season fixtures.
He offers great versatility to the squad, with him able to operate as a full-back, on the wing, and as a midfielder.
The full back by trade featured in the early stages of his career in the academies of Barnsley and Tranmere Rovers.
Lacey’s first senior move saw him go on loan to Flint Town from Prenton Park, where he was named in the JD Cymru North Team of the Season in 2023/24 following a successful season with the Silkmen.
He spent last season at the Tameside Stadium where he earnt valuable experience in the National League North which could be valuable in the Silkmen’s challenge.
