Macclesfield FC are pleased to have agreed terms to the loan signing of midfielder Luke Mariette from Blackpool until the end of the season subject to FA and League approval.

The former Welsh U18 International joins The Silkmen having previously spent a month on loan at Southport back in October making a couple of appearances during his short stay.

Mariette has also featured twice for The Tangerines in The Bristol Street Motors Trophy against Liverpool U21s and Morecambe. The 20-year-old set up two goals against The Reds in a 5-2 victory.

Luke boasts experience at this level with Bamber Bridge last season as they missed out in the playoff final against Warrington Town last season and played featured in a number of positions both offensively and defensively.

Mariette is available to play this evening against Atherton Collieries.

Everyone at Macclesfield FC would like to wish Luke every success during his stay at The Leasing.com Stadium.
