The Silkmen are back in league action this Saturday as we make the journey to Nottinghamshire to face Basford United.

Michael Clegg’s side will be looking to move one step closer to securing a play-off place with victory in the East Midlands.

The hosts will be looking to come within touching distance of survival after an upturn in form under new manager Martin Carruthers.

Last time the sides met, a below-par Silkmen were held at the Leasing.com Stadium despite a John Rooney stunner just before the interval.
