MATCH PREVIEW: CURZON ASHTON (A)

08 Dec 2023 | Latest News, Match Preview

Macclesfield FC return to Isuzu FA Trophy action this weekend as we make the short journey to Curzon Ashton in the Third Round.

Both sides come into the game following weekends without fixtures as The Silkmen’s game at Bamber Bridge was postponed due to a frozen pitch and The Nash’s scheduled game against Alfreton Town was postponed due to FA Cup commitments.

Alex Bruce remains unbeaten since taking charge of The Silkmen at the end of October and travel to Greater Manchester with great confidence.

It will be a tough test as the hosts boast the second-best record in the National League North form guide and currently sit inside the play-off places.
