We are back at the Leasing.com Stadium this Saturday as we welcome Enterprise National League side FC Halifax Town. 

It’ll be the third game in the space of five days for John Rooney’s side following games against Newcastle Town and a behind-closed-doors game against a Manchester United XI.

Saturday’s game will be another chance to raise fitness levels as the season opener against Worksop Town draws ever closer.

TEAM NEWS

John Rooney is planning to play separate XI’s for either half of the game. Paul Dawson and Jo Yarney returned to the side at Carrington and are expected to be involved again. Rollin Menayese is set to return from a side strain, however Ethan McLeod will be monitored following a hamstring injury picked up at Newcastle Town.

TICKET NEWS

All tickets for our home Pre-Season friendlies will be pay on the gate only. Supporters will have the opportunity to pay either cash or card, however cash payments will only be taken from our White Academy Reception.

Main entry points for home supporters will be via the Westwood Group Fan Zone and Academy Reception, with one turnstile in operation on Star Lane End. Supporters may enter via Bar Twenty-Seven, however they must show proof of a ticket purchased via Reception or turnstiles.

Turnstiles will open at 1:30pm with the Westwood Group Fan Zone and Bar Twenty Seven opening from 12:30pm. Visiting supporters will be located in Silkmen Terrace North and three blocks in the Besseges Stand for those who wish to sit.

Home supporters who have Pre-Purchased their Season Ticket for the new season will be entitled to a discount on Pre Season games. Proof of purchase will be needed in order to receive a discounted rate.

Prices are as follows:

Season Ticket Holders – Adults – £5 / Concessions – £3 / Disabled – £2 (Carer Ticket FREE) / Students – £2 / U18 – £2 / U12 – FREE

Non Season Ticket Holders – Adults – £8 / Concessions – £6 / Disabled – £3 (Carer Ticket FREE) / Students – £3 / U18 – £3 / U12 – FREE

All Under 12’s must be accompanied by a paying Adult. 

REFRESHMENTS

Bar Twenty Seven will be open before and after the game for home supporters.

Kiosks will also be open around the ground serving a range of hot and cold refreshments including pies, hot dogs and chips.

The Westwood Group Fan Zone will also be open from 12:30pm

MATCH ARRANGEMENTS

Traveling fans will enter the Stadium via the turnstiles located in between the Silkmen Terrace and Moss Lane Stand.

We would like to remind supporters to please park respectfully in and around the vicinity of the Leasing.com Stadium and take care when arriving and leaving the ground.

There will also be no printed Matchday Programmes for Pre Season fixtures.

MATCH UPDATES 

There will be no Mixlr commentary for Saturday’s game against FC Halifax Town.
