The Silkmen return to the Leasing.com Stadium this weekend for our next pre-season friendly against Wolverhampton Wanderers, in memory of Ethan McLeod.
The game is set to be an emotional occasion, but one we hope to also be full of joy as we celebrate the life of Ethan McLeod, accompanied by the family, with Ethan’s brother Conor set to feature for Wolves.
The Championship side are set to send a team from their Academy, who we expect will provide an excellent test for the Silkmen, as such a high calibre opposition.

TICKET NEWS
This fixture is all ticket, with all sales taking place on the day of the game from 12:15pm.
Tickets can be purchased from the turnstiles via card only, with the exception of the Academy Kiosk, which also accepts cash transactions.
Tickets are priced as follows, with a significant discount for 2026/27 season ticket holders –
Adult: £8 / £5
Concession: £6 / £3
Student: £3 / £2
U18: £3 / £2
U12: FREE
Disabled: £3 / £2
Carer: FREE
Disabled and Carer tickets can only be claimed from our Club Reception on the production of relevant identification.
Please note – all concession tickets will be asked to provide relevant identification upon entry to the ground.
An adult must accompany all Under-12s.
TEAM NEWS
The Silkmen side will be made up largely of First Team players, with the addition of a number of trialists and a select few from our Youth Academy. It is likely that the squad will be rotated throughout the game in order for John Rooney and his management team to test each player available to them.
As mentioned above, Ethan’s brother Conor is also set to feature for Wolves alongside his team mates.
All further team news details will be released an hour prior to kick off.
MATCH ARRANGEMENTS
Traveling fans will enter the Stadium via the turnstiles located in between the Silkmen Terrace and the Besseges Stand.
We would like to remind supporters to please park respectfully in and around the vicinity of the Stadium and take care when arriving and leaving the ground.
