The Silkmen’s Emirates FA Cup Second Round tie is almost upon us as they face Slough Town at Arbour Park on Sunday afternoon, live on TNT Sports 2 & Discovery+

John Rooney’s men will be looking to make history once again by progressing to the much coveted Third Round for the first time since the Club reformed as Macclesfield FC, when all Premier League & EFL teams will become potential opponents for the Silkmen to be drawn against, but are well aware of the task at hand when they come up against Enterprise National League South side Slough on Sunday.

TEAM NEWS

The Silkmen are nearing a return to full strength, though are still awaiting a fitness update on a couple of players, nevertheless John Rooney is hopeful of having a full squad to choose from.

 

TICKET NEWS

Our away allocation is entirely sold out! Supporters without a ticket are urged not to travel.

There are 200 seats available to supporters on the day with standing room for the remaining Silkmen faithful.

 

MATCH ARRANGEMENTS

Supporters are to enter via the turnstiles and take their positions in correlation with their ticket.

On first team match days, all spaces at Arbour Park are reserved for players, officials, guests, and Blue Badge holders.

There is a limited number of unreserved spaces for all supporters at Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy (next to Arbour Park) on match days, available on a first come, first served basis. Please follow the directions of the stewards.

Off street parking is extremely limited – however there are several car parks within walking distance. We would strongly encourage supporters to car-share or travel by public transport where possible. There are many public car parks nearer the town centre which are within walking distance of Arbour Park.

If you do park in residential streets, please be respectful to our neighbours – keep noise to a minimum, and do not litter. When parking, do not block entranceways and driveways, and do not park dangerously, including on blind corners.

There is a dedicated away fans bar, from which supporters can purchase refreshments, though it is not permitted to drink alcohol in view of the pitch for this tie.

Full match coverage will be provided by both TNT Sports 2 & Discovery+ television channels and will be shown live in Bar Twenty Seven.
