Share:

Macclesfield FC take a break from league action as we make the long journey to the North East to take on Whickham FC in The FA Cup 1st Qualifying Round.

The Silkmen will look to push on in this season’s competition against lower-league opposition.

Whickham have already played two rounds in the competition beating Carlisle City and Whitley Bay to reach the 1st Qualifying Round. The Lang Jacks play in the Northern Football League Division One and have already beaten two fellow league sides to reach this stage.

The hosts currently sit 12th in their division and Mark Duffy’s side come into the game off the back of a late draw against Warrington Rylands on Bank Holiday Monday.
