MATCH PREVIEW: WITTON ALBION V MACCLESFIELD

The Silkmen are back in NPL West Division action this evening, as we make the relatively short journey over to the U-Lock-It Stadium to face Witton Albion.

Danny Whitaker’s side will be looking to extend their unblemished record in all competitions this season, as they come up against a Witton side that currently reside in sixteenth position.

The Albion have amassed four points from their four games played and started the campaign with a one-all draw at Newcastle Town.

A 1 – 0 defeat against Glossop North End ensued, before Witton claimed their first league win of the season against Workington back on 27th August.

Their league record is complete with reference to a 1 – 0 defeat at Runcorn Linnets back on Bank Holiday Monday.

TEAM NEWS

Jacob Hanson and Mark Duffy remain doubtful ahead of the tie, yet these are the only known injury concerns that Danny Whitaker has to contend with.
