Macclesfield FC are delighted to welcome the addition of Goalkeepers Max Dearnley and Tom Scott to the Football Club.

Both keepers have great experience in the National League and the National League North. They will be somewhat familiar to Silkmen fans after both were in the opposing goal on separate occasions last season.

Dearnley was a part of the Buxton side that was knocked out of the Emirates FA Cup by The Silkmen whereas Scott was in the Bradford Park Avenue goal for their victory at the Leasing.com Stadium back in December.

Standing at 6ft 5, Dearnley provides a towering presence in the goal. His experience playing in the National League North for Buxton and Chorley will prove valuable in The Silkmen’s promotion push.

Formerly being part of Manchester City’s Academy, Scott provides National League experience as well with his time at FC Halifax Town, but also has Northern Premier League experience with Nantwich Town and Bradford (Park Avenue) and will add further experience to our squad.

We are delighted to welcome both Tom and Max to the Leasing.com Stadium and we wish every success during their time at the Club.
