Macclesfield FC can confirm that Harry Motley has joined Congleton Town on a short-term basis on dual registration terms.

The 17 year-old joins the Bears temporarily having impressed for the Silkmen’s U18’s Club record FA Youth Cup run which saw them reach the First Round Proper for the first time ever, and also featuring regularly for Macc’s U23 side, comfortably making the step up in age group and facing older oppositions.

Motley will feature for Congleton’s first team during his spell away from Macclesfield, as he goes in search of regular men’s football and looks to fast-track his career development.

Harry has also caught the eye of other Club’s whilst with both Macclesfield’s U18 & U23 sides and will no doubt become even more of a hot prospect and better prepared for first team level games following his baptism of fire with the Bears.

Everyone at Macclesfield FC would like to wish Harry the very best of luck during his time at Congleton and look forward to welcoming him back on his return to the Leasing.com Stadium.
