As we look at the new sides entering the Enterprise National League North this season, we take our first look at one of the promoted sides coming into the league.
Harborough Town enter the National League North for the first time after they were crowned Champions of the Southern Premier League Central Division, securing their crown after a victory away at Halesowen Town.
The Leicestershire outfit have been on an upward trajectory for a number of years now, having played regional football in the early 2010’s to now taking their spot amongst a number of former EFL sides.
Managed by Mitch Austin, Harborough have a similar recent record in the Emirates FA Cup to the Silkmen in recent years, most notably last season, where they took League One Reading all the way to Extra Time in the Second Round of the competition.
The Bees will be hoping to continue their recent rise and will be hoping to put in a good showing in their first-ever season in the Enterprise National League North.
It’ll be a new venue for Silkmen supporters as we face Harborough for the very first time next season.
