Macclesfield Football Club can confirm that First Team Coach Peter Band is to depart the club for a new chapter in management.

Bandy has been a focal figure at the Club over the last three seasons and a favourite amongst many involved with the club both on and off the field.

Having played an instrumental role, in back-to-back promotions, Bandy leaves the club with so many positive memories having joined when the club reformed back in 2020 as Danny Whitaker’s Assistant.

Director of Football Robbie Savage said the following:

“I’m disappointed to lose such a great person like Bandy who I get along so well with on a personal level.

“It’s a great opportunity for him to return to management and I would like to thank Bandy for everything over the last three seasons.

“Bandy will always be welcome back at the club anytime.”

Everyone associated with Macclesfield FC would like to wish Bandy all the best and would like to thank him for all the memories over the past few years.
