Old rivalries become reunited on Saturday as the latest installment of Macclesfield vs Altrincham takes place in the Isuzu FA Trophy. 

A rivalry stretching back over 100 years returns at the J. Davidson Stadium as Robbie Savage’s side makes the journey to Greater Manchester.

The Silkmen got past National League North leaders Curzon Ashton in the previous round via a penalty shootout whereas our hosts enter the competition at this stage.

It is set to be a great occasion for both clubs both on and off the field with a sold-out away following making the journey.

Sean Etaluku is cup-tied for Saturday’s clash. Elliott Whitehouse trained for the first time in over 10 weeks on Thursday and is pushing towards a return. There are no other injury concerns for Robbie Savage’s side.

Tickets for tomorrows game are SOLD OUT.

There will be no ticket sales on the day to Silkmen supporters. Any supporter found to have purchased a home ticket will be refused entry and no refund will be given.
