We are delighted to confirm that manager John Rooney has won the Enterprise National League North Manager of the Month award for January.

A month that has seen the Silkmen make strides towards the play-off picture, with just one league defeat, along with four wins, has seen John Rooney’s side rise into seventh in the division.

Victories over Radcliffe, Oxford City, Worksop Town, and Bedford Town, as well as a historic victory over Premier League side Crystal Palace in the Emirates FA Cup, has seen the Silkmen manager deservedly pick up the award for January.

Everyone at the Club gives our huge congratulations to John and all the First-Team staff on this excellent achievement.
