In the final part of our look at the new sides entering the National League North for the 2026/27 season, we are heading over to Lincolnshire for our final outfit.
Spalding United are a side that have bounced between the Northern Premier League and Southern Premier Central Leagues, and will be playing at their highest ever level this time around.
The Tulips finished 2nd in the Southern Premier League Central last season, finishing runners-up to Harborough Town. They defeated Halesowen Town in their Semi-Final before coming from behind to beat Real Bedford in Extra Time to secure their spot in the Enterprise National League North.
United have managed to attract a number of ex-EFL players in the past few seasons, one of note is defender Liam Moore, who has had a strong career with Leicester City and Reading.
Moore is now captain of the Lincolnshire outfit and has played an instrumental role in the Tulips’ rise to their current position.
Jimmy Dean will be hoping his Tulips side can make a positive impact in the National League North in their first crack at the sixth tier of English football.
