Macclesfield FC are excited to unveil a major new two-year partnership with Elms.

This will see the local marketing company become our Official Academy Shorts Sponsor with what represents a significant five-figure deal.

In addition to this, Elms branding will be poignantly placed around the Leasing.com Stadium and they will become Max Dearnley’s sponsor as part of a wide-ranging and eclectic commercial package.

Elms are a market leader in the supply, customisation and personalisation of sportswear.

They are exclusive suppliers of some of the biggest and most well-known competitions in European football – including the English Football League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and the Scottish Professional Football League.

Established in the 1990s, the Hurdsfield-based company evolved with their trusted customers and partners – building a reputation based on service and innovation by providing a one-stop solution to all areas of the sportswear and leisurewear business sectors.

A commitment to quality, service and flexibility has enabled Elms to diversify services and enhance the value they add to all their customers.

General Manager Declan Gleeson was keen to express his enthusiasm for the collaboration shortly after it was concluded –

“We are thrilled to be playing our part in Macclesfield FC’s story with this exciting partnership.

“Everyone at Elms is looking forward to getting behind the Club this season – all the way from the First Team down to the Under-6s side.

“To be associated with the hopes and dreams of so many local people is special, and we’re delighted to be able to play a small part”.

“We are truly humbled to have Elms branding on Academy shorts and wish all Macclesfield FC teams every success throughout the new campaign.”

Marketing Lead Alec Ogden added to this with the following –

“Macclesfield has a proud tradition of both textiles and football, and we’re proud to continue both as the UK leaders in sportswear and teamwear personalisation.

“The multi-year deal enables us to forge a strong relationship with Macclesfield FC and the local community more generally.

“I can’t wait to see our partnership evolve and am genuinely excited about all we can achieve together.”

Head of Commercial and Sponsorships Bob Trafford stated –

“There can be no doubt that the acquisition of Elms to our commercial portfolio is a prestigious one.

“Their supplier list speaks for itself and I am humbled that we have managed to secure this two-year deal.

“I would like to thank everyone at Elms for their unbelievable belief in everything we are trying to achieve here at Macclesfield FC.

“In particular, I would like to thank Declan Gleeson and Alec Ogden, without whom this partnership would not have been possible.”
