We are delighted to announce that manager John Rooney and forward Luke Duffy have been nominated for the Enterprise National League North Manager and Player of the Month awards for March, respectively.
With the Silkmen winning six out of their eight league games in March, Rooney has earned his third nomination in three months, which has seen the Silkmen knock on the door of an automatic semi-final place in the Enterprise National League North.
As for Duffy, he has also had a very good March. The winger has been on the scoresheet three times, including a brace at home to Hereford, as well as bagging a handful of assists in the Silkmen’s bid to secure third place.
