SILKMEN EXTEND MAJOR PARTNERSHIP DEAL WITH SPECSAVERS MACCLESFIELD

31 Jul 2024 | Commercial, Latest News

Macclesfield FC are delighted to announce a major partnership extension with Specsavers Macclesfield.

This will see the nationwide brand retain their status as Official Dugout Sponsor ahead of the new season.

In addition to this, Specsavers Macclesfield will retain their poignant branding at the Leasing.com Stadium, as well as enjoying matchday hospitality within the Westwood VIP Lounge.

Specsavers was built around the idea that everyone should be able to afford glasses and have access to high-quality eye care.

Over the years, they’ve always looked at the world around us to see how we could shape the future of eye care.

Whether that is by working more closely with general physicians and eye doctors or by bringing more enhanced optical services to their stores.

They’ve grown but haven’t lost sight of our purpose; to change lives through better sight and hearing.

It’s what everyone in their company aims for every single day.

Retail Director Angharad Butler stated –

“We are delighted to be able to extend our partnership with Macclesfield Football Club ahead of what promises to be another exciting season.

“Being associated with a Club that is such an integral part of the community is incredibly important to us and there can be no doubt that Macclesfield FC are making a great impact both on and off the pitch.

“Having sponsored the Club since their inception back in 2020, we have been amazed with how they have brought our whole community together – not just on matchdays, but seven days a week.

“On behalf of everyone at Specsavers Macclesfield, we would like to wish Robbie and the team every success ahead of the new campaign.”

Head of Commercial and Sponsorships Bob Trafford added to this with the following –

“Having a prestigious name such as Specsavers Macclesfield within our commercial portfolio is obviously very humbling.

“In many ways, this partnership exemplifies the fact that so many people have worked so hard to get us where we are today.

“I am incredibly grateful to everyone at Specsavers Macclesfield for their continued loyalty to us, but in particular I would like to thank Retail Director Angharad Butler and Ophthalmic Director Dan Williams.

“Both Angharad and Dan have been instrumental in us being able to extend this much-valued partnership and I look forward to working alongside them once again this season.”
