The most loyal of our Silkmen faithful made the longest trip of our 2026/27 pre-season campaign to Tamworth on Tuesday evening.
We can’t thank you enough for making the journey!
The few who made the effort were in fine voice and made their presence known, backing the lads from start to finish and did their best to suck the ball over the line, standing proudly behind the goal in each half towards which the Silkmen were shooting towards.
The Macc fans were eventually rewarded with a goal on the 78th minute from Adan George to level proceedings and ensure the Silkmen retained their unbeaten status in pre-season.
Their support was acknowledged with a round of applause from players and staff alike at the full time whistle, who were equally as grateful for their support.
We look forward to seeing them and many others back at the Leasing.com Stadium on Saturday afternoon for our final pre-season test against FC United of Manchester.
