Macclesfield FC are honoured to have been nominated as finalists for the Transformation Impact Award at the Football Business Awards 2026.

The Silkmen have received recognition for our biggest ever Emirates FA Cup upset against holders and Premier League giants Crystal Palace in the Third Round of the competition in January of this year.

The Silkmen are in contention to win a Gold, Silver or Bronze award for the achievement. The rival finalists for the same award are as follows:

  • Brighton & Hove Albion FC – One Goal
  • DFL – Bundesliga Platinum Match Concept
  • DFL – Franz Beckenbauer Supercup
  • Liverpool FC – The Red Way
  • Prostate Cancer UK – Prostate United
  • The FA – Enough is Enough Campaign
  • Utilita Energy – Football Rebooted

Macc go toe to toe with household names, who have orchestrated and produced fantastic campaigns, which are all hugely deserving of recognition, though we are of course hoping to go all the way and win the award!

The winners will be announced and awarded their prizes at this years ceremony, taking place at The Brewery in London on Friday 15th May, following the conclusion of our 2025/26 Enterprise National League North season.

We look forward to attending this fantastic event and will provide an update as to whether we have bee successful following the ceremony on the day.
