SILKMEN PARTNER WITH KENNY WASTE MANAGEMENT IN LONG-TERM DEAL

30 Aug 2024 | Commercial, Latest News

Macclesfield FC are delighted to announce a new three-year deal with Kenny Waste Management, who have become our Official Waste Management partner.

In addition to claiming prominent signage on the London Road side of the ground, Kenny Waste Management will also be sponsoring our Goal of the Month competition and enjoying corporate hospitality at each of our home league games this season.

The exciting partnership will also see branded bins placed throughout the Leasing.com Stadium, with Kenny Waste Management facilitating multiple weekly collections as our exclusive provider.

Kenny Waste Management put the customer first. They are a local family business providing best-in-class waste services across Greater Manchester and beyond since 1985.

Today, they are the leading independent waste management supplier in the North West, guided by their zero landfill ethos.

Regionally, they offer a complete managed service, directly operating an ultra-low-carbon fleet (more than 50 vehicles) and their own purpose-built Materials Recovery Facilities (MRFs) which process more than 180,000 tonnes of waste per year. More than 99% is diverted from landfill, so they are a highly ethical and super eco-friendly provider.

Every business is unique. That’s why one of their Commercial Waste Consultants will co-operate with you closely to tailor a bespoke cost-effective waste management solution perfect for your business.

As a Responsible Business, their model guarantees transparency, auditability, and compliance. Their commitment to sustainability and social value extends even further. In 2018, they were inspired to establish their very own Social Enterprise with a mission to make career opportunities accessible to all, through working collaboratively in the community.

Commercial Waste Sales Manager Ben Swindells stated –

“We’re thrilled to announce our partnership as the Official Waste Partner of Macclesfield!

“It’s an exciting time to be part of their journey back to the Football League, and we’re ready to tackle sustainability goals head-on.

“With our experience working alongside several non-league and Football League Clubs in the North West, bringing Macclesfield onboard was a no-brainer.

“Together, we’ll kick off a cleaner, greener future with The Silkmen!”

Head of Commercial and Sponsorships Bob Trafford added to this with the following –

“Everyone here at the Leasing.com Stadium is thrilled that we have been able to secure this long-term partnership with Kenny Waste Management.

“Ever since we met their representatives, we knew that a deal was there to be done.

“Not only are Kenny Waste Management providing us with a remarkable service at a very reasonable cost, but they have also invested back into the Club with a lucrative five-figure sum.

“As part of the deal, Kenny Waste Management will also enjoy activation days throughout the season – enabling our fans to learn even more about them with a bit of fun thrown too!

“I can’t wait to see this partnership evolve over the next three years and would like you all to join me in welcoming Kenny Waste Management to our very special Club.”
