Macclesfield FC are delighted to announce the signing of Kacper Pasiek on an initial one month loan deal from EFL Championship side Preston North End.

The 20 year-old joins the Silkmen from parent club Preston having signed his first professional deal in the summer, keeping him at Deepdale for at least another two seasons following a successful loan spell at Enterprise National League side Altrincham in the previous campaign.

Pasiek is predominantly a left-sided defender, also capable of play further forward in a wing-back role, further strengthening the Silkmen’s squad initially for the next month, with a view to extend the agreement.

Prior to his spell with Altrincham, Kacper enjoyed a loan spell with Warrington Town and also linked up with Marine before a very brief stint with the latter was cut short due to injury.

The Polish national had come through the youth ranks at North End beforehand, culminating in a successful season with the Lilywhites’ U19 side and completing his scholarship. Kacper trained regularly with the first team and featured in match day squads for Preston last season ahead of going out on loan to Altrincham and eventually putting pen to paper on a new deal.

Pasiek agreed terms with the Silkmen in the last 48 hours and joined up with the squad for training on Thursday afternoon and will be eligible for this weekend’s Enterprise National League North home fixture against Bedford Town.

Kacper will wear the number 32 shirt during his stay with the Silkmen!

Everyone at Macclesfield FC would like to wish Kacper all the very best of luck during his time at the Club and encourage everyone to join us in giving him a warm welcome!

Tickets for Saturday’s game, in which Kacper is in contention to make his debut remain on sale HERE
