Macclesfield FC are delighted to reveal our 2026/27 home kit, in collaboration with DNA!

We are proud to present an all-new era of Macclesfield FC kits, designed by our new manufacturers, DNA, with Macclesfield’s heritage at heart, emphasised by not only the look and feel of the shirt, but also in the meaningful tagline, ‘Woven into our DNA’.

Dating back to 1743 when the very first silk mill opened in Macclesfield, the town began its journey to become the hub of the UK & Europe’s silk production, rapidly evolving into an industrial powerhouse and by the early 1800’s, entirely dominated the field, soon recognisable as the silk capital of England.

Upon the founding of Macclesfield Football Club in 1874, the connection became inevitable and was soon intertwined, with the Club nicknamed the Silkmen, sticking proudly ever since through the eras of Macclesfield Football and Athletic Club, Macclesfield Town and the re-birth of Macclesfield FC. Our relationship with the town’s heritage has remained tight-knit, and in homage to this, plays a more prominent part than ever in our brand new 2026/27 home kit.

Produced in-house by DNA with the Club’s history at the forefront of the kit’s creation, the all-blue kit heavily features a silk-based design, embossed with the all-white Macclesfield FC badge on the chest of the shirt, symmetrically aligned with the DNA logo on the opposite side, sat prominently above our front of shirt sponsor Duck And Cover, accompanied by sleeve and back of shirt sponsor Kings Will Dream.

Emblazed vertically on both the front and the back of the shirt features ‘SILKMEN’ embedded within a regular deeper blue stripe, nestled between a contrasting lighter blue and white trim, running down the seams of the shirt, featuring also on the sleeve trim and shoulders.

The colour way is consistent throughout the kit, retaining the identical scheme in both the shorts and socks, though losing the stripes beneath the shirt. Our badge sits proudly on the right thigh of the shorts opposite the dynamic DNA logo, held snug by the light blue and white trim running smoothly down the side.

Completed by the socks, following the same theme, finished in mid blue, and featuring the DNA logo in white across the shin, topped off by a further blue and white trim on the overturn of the stocking, reappearing more discreetly when rolled. The toe also replicates the light blue trim appearing at the top of the sock, whilst the white re-emerges on the heel.

The all-new home kit will be debuted at tomorrow afternoon’s final pre-season friendly against FC United of Manchester at the Leasing.com Stadium with retail information to follow very soon.
