Macclesfield FC are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Luke Griffiths on a short-term deal!

Luke, who was most recently at fellow Enterprise National League North side Curzon Ashton, joins the Silkmen having impressed in a Club record season at the Nash, attaining their highest points tally to date at this level, featuring in forty of those games, scoring five goals and providing four assists.

Griffiths strengthens the ranks at Macc, with Manager John Rooney requiring reinforcements having lost some key individuals to injury and suspension since the start of the season. Luke more than adequately fills the current void in the squad and will undoubtedly become a valuable commodity to the Club with quality performances in weeks to come.

Speaking to Silkmen TV upon signing, the 27-year-old expressed his delight at joining the Club, “I can’t wait to get going. I’m more than excited! Macclesfield is a massive Club and I’m really looking forward to it”
