Macclesfield FC are delighted to have teamed up with the Michael Carrick Foundation to support their annual campaign, Carrick’s Boot Room.
Launched in 2018, the campaign was created in a bid to ensure youngsters, no matter their age, background or ability, have access to the equipment they need to be able to take part and be the best that they can be. During the last Boot Room campaign, more than one thousand pairs of boots were distributed to children who had incorrect or ill fitting footwear. These donations not only enable youngsters to play safely, but allow them to become part of a team, attend sessions in safe spaces and find new friends.
This year, the campaign is set to be bigger and better than ever before, but to do this we need your help! We’re calling upon our football family and the local community to dig out their unwanted or outgrown football boots and astro trainers and donate them at Macclesfield FC from 17th to the 1st of December. Every pair of donated boots will be thoroughly checked, cleaned and re-laced, ready to be redistributed to children who need them most.
Thank you in advance for your support.
