Macclesfield FC are thrilled to announce a major new partnership deal with The Besseges Group, which will span until the summer of 2028.

As part of this wide-ranging agreement, Besseges will claim the naming rights for the Moss Lane Stand and enjoy significant branding on what will now be known as The Besseges Stand.

In addition, Besseges have also put their name to new signing Josef Yarney, as well as agreeing a whole host of other benefits.

The Besseges Group embodies both Besseges FM and Besseges Fire Protection, both of which are well-respected industry leaders.

Besseges Fire Protection offer a full service – taking you from concept to completion.

They are able to do this thanks to their vastly experienced design team, highly qualified fitters, expertly trained service and maintenance engineers, and their own in-house fabrication unit.

The ability to handle the entire process in-house provides a wealth of benefits, including reduced lead times, lower costs, and improved quality control.

Since their formation in 1976, Besseges Fire Protection have not only offered the required high standards of quality and expertise, they have also provided the very highest levels of personal service to all their clients.

Dave Prendergast acquired Besseges Ltd in 2022, bringing in Andy Prendergast to serve as Chief Operating Officer

Both Dave and Andy come with a combined 50 years of experience in design, supply, installation and maintenance of fire protection systems.

Their aim is to build on Besseges’ proud history and reputation to take the company to the next level.

Besseges FM division was formed shortly after the acquisition of the business and has rapidly developed into one of the UK’ s fastest growing and well respected provider of Facilities Management providing a wide range of building services such as Air Conditioning and ventilation, Commercial Heating & Plumbing, Electrical works as well as Access & Security systems.

Shortly after the partnership was agreed, COO Andy Prendergast stated –

“The Besseges Group are incredibly proud to have secured this exciting new partnership with Macclesfield FC.

“We are dedicated Silkmen fans and to see our branding so evocatively placed on the Moss Lane Stand is something which really does humble us all in so many ways.

“There can be no doubt that the Football Club has had a massively positive influence on the local community since its inception, and we wanted to do our bit to support everyone who has made the Club what it is today.

“On behalf of everyone at The Besseges Group, we would like to wish John Rooney and his team every success ahead of the forthcoming season.”

Head of Commercial and Sponsorships Bob Trafford added to this with the following –

“There can be no doubt that this is one of the biggest and most exciting partnerships of the summer.

“I am so proud to have been able to conclude this deal, which is one of the most lucrative in our history.

“The Besseges Group have been long-term supporters of the Football Club, but for them to take their support to this level is absolutely phenomenal.

“I would like to put on record my sincere thanks to everyone at The Besseges Group, and in particular, Andy and Dave Prendergast, who have been unbelievable to work with throughout this process.”
