CLUB STATEMENT: OWOLABI RED CARD APPEAL

After lodging an appeal against the red card shown to Babatunde Owolabi, we can confirm that we have been unsuccessful and Tunde will therefore serve a three-game suspension.

Owolabi was dismissed in the 41st minute of last Saturday’s fixture at home to Radcliffe following serious foul play against Olly Thornley.

As a result, Owolabi will miss the next three fixtures starting with this Saturday’s clash with Guiseley.

The club will be making no further comment on the matter.
