Macclesfield FC can confirm that Youth Academy & BTEC trio Grady Valentine, Harry Woosey and Harry McGowan have departed to North West Counties sides Glossop North End and Ashton Athletic on dual registration terms.

Grady has joined North West Counties Premier Division side Glossop North End, whilst Harry Woosey and Harry McGowan have been taken on by North West Counties Northern Division side Ashton Athletic.

The trio will spend the next month with their respective Club’s as they look to further progress their footballing careers by gaining valuable experience in men’s football.

Whilst Grady and both Harry’s have impressed and are valued members of our BTEC programme and Junior Academy respectively, an opportunity, arranged and presented by U23’s Head Coach Ross Speight, has enabled the boys to pricelessly feature at a first team level, and prepare for life and football beyond the pathways offered here at Macclesfield FC.

13 lads from the First Team, Academy & BTEC combined are now out on dual registrations with other Clubs and it’s great to see them thriving during their stints away, as we’re sure Grady, Harry and Harry will.

We wish Grady, Harry and Harry all the very best of luck in their temporary spells away from the Leasing.com Stadium and look forward to welcoming them back in a month’s time as mature young men and even better players!

Go and smash it, lads!
