Macclesfield FC are pleased to have agreed terms with striker Tunde Owolabi subject to FA approval and international clearance.

The 28-year-old recently left Cork City where he scored several times in the Irish Premier Division. He also had a spell with St Pats Athletic during his time playing in Ireland.

The Belgian National knows this level well, having had spells with fellow Northern Premier League sides Radcliffe, Hyde United and FC United of Manchester.

Tunde joined Hamilton Academical in Scotland from FC United having scored 35 goals in the 2019/20 season before his move.

Owolabi brings goalscoring pedigree to The Silkmen with his most prolific goalscoring coming at this level and adds to Alex Bruce’s attacking options.

Tunde will be available for Monday’s trip to Warrington Rylands subject to clearance.

Everyone at Macclesfield FC would like to wish Tunde every success during his time with the club.
