Macclesfield FC can today confirm that we have submitted an appeal for the red card received by striker Babatunde Owolabi.

Owolabi was dismissed in the 41st minute of Saturday’s Northern Premier League Premier Division game against Radcliffe FC due to alleged serious foul play on defender Olly Thornley.

The club will be making no further comment at this current stage.
