This morning, we headed to Molineux to meet Liam Hadfield and his close friends as they began a very special journey in memory of their friend, Lee Pountley, who sadly took his own life in May.
The group are walking from Molineux to the Leasing.com Stadium, raising funds and awareness forΒ ANDYSMANCLUB Β in Leeβs memory.
Today will see them make their way from Wolverhampton to Stoke, before setting off again tomorrow morning for the final leg to Macclesfield.
We caught up with Liam just before the group set off to hear, in his own words, why theyβre taking on the challenge.
Theyβre hoping to arrive at the Leasing.com Stadium at around 2pm tomorrow, ahead of our home fixture against Harborough Town.
A huge effort for an incredibly important cause β and we look forward to welcoming Liam and the lads to Macclesfield tomorrow. π
