MATCH PREVIEW: MACCLESFIELD V GUISELEY

28 Oct 2022 | Match Preview

The Silkmen return to the Leasing.com Stadium on Saturday afternoon, in order to contest our Isuzu FA Trophy First Round Proper tie against Guiseley.

Danny Whitaker’s side will be looking to bounce back from last week’s home league defeat against 1874 Northwich and come up against a side a league above them once again in what promises to be an enthralling contest.

Our visitors currently reside in twelfth place in the Northern Premier League, having accumulated twenty-two points from their opening fifteen games.

They come into the game on the back of a one-all draw at Stafford Rangers on last Saturday.

Dan Cowan is the only injury concern, as he continues his strength and conditioning programme following a knee injury.

Loanee James Hardy is available for selection, following his temporary move from Buxton earlier this week.
