The Silkmen return to the Leasing.com Stadium this afternoon, as we prepare to lift the Northern Premier League West Division trophy.
Neil Danns’ side will be wanting to sign off their home campaign with another victory and face a Prescot Cables side who reside eleventh in the league standings.
Cables have accumulated 46 points from 26 games and come into this afternoon’s contest on the back of a 2 – 2 draw against Bootle on Easter Monday.
Jack Goodwin opened the scoring in the third minute and despite the visitors claiming the lead through Matty Hamilton and Andy Owens, James Foley’s last-minute penalty ensured that Cables took a share of the spoils.
TEAM NEWS
Dan Sweeney is the only injury concern ahead of the game, after he sustained an ankle injury earlier in the week.
