Macclesfield FC were excited to welcome striker Adan George following his departure from AFC Telford United. The 24-year-old quickly became a target for manager John Rooney after an impressive season last time out, which saw him grab a brace in a 3-0 win over the Silkmen in March. Adan had an impressive campaign for the Bucks during 2025/26, where he scored 10 goals in all competitions for Kevin Wilkin’s side as they made a positive start to life back in the National League North. George came through the ranks at Birmingham City before earning his first senior loan move to Bromsgrove Sporting whilst in the Blues Academy. The forward went on to make two appearances for Birmingham against Cambridge United in the EFL Cup and came off the bench against Brentford in the Championship. After a short term loan to Walsall, George went on to make permanent transfers to Alvechurch and Rushall Olympic, where he made a big impact, especially for the Pics. That resulted in a move to National League side FC Halifax Town, where he made 38 appearances for the Shaymen.
