Macclesfield FC were pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Carlos Dos Santos in July 2025. The midfielder possesses great pace and power, as well as great versatility, being able to play in a number of positions in midfield and in defence. Carlos has been on a great trajectory with the club, firstly coming through our Youth Academy before spending three successful years on our IFG Macclesfield FC University programme. Having spent a season at Newcastle Town under the stewardship of Neil Baker, Dos Santos impressed manager John Rooney during pre-season, resulting in him earning a first-team deal. Dos Santos agreed a new deal for 2026/27 and with it becomes a focal figure of the Club’s new Emerging Talent Group.
