Fin joined the Silkmen in the summer of 2026 following his departure from fellow National League North side, Chester FC. The exciting midfielder featured on 40 occasions for the Seals last season, and now swaps Cheshire West for Cheshire East as he joins John Rooney’s Silkmen. Starting out at Barnsley, Fin’s first taste of senior football came with Scunthorpe United where he rose through the ranks, eventually playing for the Iron in both League Two and the National League. Loans to Spennymoor Town in consecutive seasons furthered Shrimpton’s experience before a permanent move to the Deva Stadium at the start of last season. The arrival of Shrimpton gives manager John Rooney another exciting option to add to the midfield ranks at the Leasing.com Stadium.
