Macclesfield FC announced the signing of forward James Gale on a free transfer following his departure from Altrincham.
The 6’4” centre forward started out at Long Eaton United before quickly being snapped up by Sky Bet League One side Mansfield Town.
Gale has since developed via the route of a number of loan periods most notably with Solihull Moors and Boston United.
He joined Altrincham in the summer of 2025, before making the switch to the Leasing.com Stadium in January 2026 following his departure from The Robins.
