The Silkmen welcomed exciting winger Jonathan Ustabasi following his departure from AFC Fylde over the summer. A target of manager John Rooney’s during the post-season, Ustabasi joins The Silkmen following a promotion-winning campaign with The Coasters. The winger by trade spent three seasons at Mill Farm, which saw the latest ending in promotion to the National League. The 32-year-old made 29 appearances in the Enterprise National League North last season, scoring on 16 occasions. Jon brings a wealth of experience to Macclesfield, having played at a similar level for a number of seasons, featuring previously for the likes of Chorley and Stalybridge Celtic after beginning his career out in Turkey with Denizlispor, Fethiyespor, Yesil Bursa, and Bursaspor, where Jon originally resided.
