Macclesfield FC were delighted to announce the signing of winger Justin Johnson following his departure from Chorley in the summer of 2024.  The 28-year-old Dutchman joined The Silkmen having been named in the 2023/24 National League North Team of the Season.  The Silkmen fought off competition from a number of National League and National League North clubs to secure Justin’s signature.  Johnson boasts great ability at dribbling past his man, possessing a great pace and agility - offering a real creative threat.  Johnson found the net 14 times with his directness making him a real handful for Defenders.  The winger has experience playing in Scotland’s top tier with Hamilton Academicals and in the Northern Premier League with Stalybridge Celtic.  JJ will be hoping to push on ahead of The Silkmen’s promotion to the National League North.
