The Silkmen welcomed midfielder Matthew Apter following his departure from Cardiff City over the summer. Apter came through the ranks at Everton where he made a number of appearances for the Club’s U18’s before moving into the U21 setup. He went onto join the Bluebirds where he was highly regarded and would feature for the First Team in the EFL Trophy against Arsenal U21s. The creative midfielder loves to cover ground across the middle of the park and provides great depth to the Silkmen’s midfield ranks.
