Macclesfield FC were delighted to secure the services of exciting midfielder Mikey Stone. Mikey started his career at Stoke City’s Academy, before moving to Huddersfield Town where he progressed through their youth ranks. Stone’s first taste of senior football came with Liversedge in 2022 before signing for Hamilton Academical in Scotland. The Accies were placed under a transfer embargo at the start of the season which scuppered a move to the Scottish League One side. He spent a brief period with Altrincham at the end of 2025, before making the switch to the Leasing.com Stadium.
