Ahead of this evening’s freshly re-arranged clash against Barnoldswick Town, Nick Simpson previews the trip to Lancashire for the third and final Trial XI pre-season friendly ahead of the First Team’s return to the Leasing.com Stadium against Hyde United on Saturday afternoon.
The game kicks off in an hour’s time at 6:30pm at the UCLAN Sports Arena, and Simpson is hoping to see another encouraging display from a young Silkmen side, each of whom will be looking to earn a place in John Rooney’s squad for the upcoming First team friendlies.
