NTUMBA MASSANKA SIGNS FOR THE SILKMEN

Macclesfield FC are delighted to confirm the signing of 26-year-old forward Ntumba Massanka, who agreed terms with the Club earlier today.

The commanding striker will be eligible to face Leek Town on Saturday subject to NPL and FA ratification.

Ntumba was born in Tottenham but moved to Manchester at the age of four and it wasn’t long before his natural talent was spotted by scouts at Manchester United.

Spending six years at Old Trafford, Ntumba then enjoyed a short spell at Manchester City before joining Burnley in the summer of 2013.

Two years later, Ntumba signed a professional contract at Turf Moor before heading out on loan to York City for the second half of the 2015/16 campaign.

Subsequent loan moves to Morecambe, Wrexham and Dover Athletic followed, before Ntumba enjoyed joined Belgian side RWDM47 on a short-term basis in January 2019.

Ntumba was released by Burnley the following summer and signed for National League side Chorley ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.

In February 2020 Ntumba joined Italian side ASD Angelana, before heading back to England in order to sign for South Shields in the summer of 2021.

Since then, Ntumba has made thirteen appearances for The Mariners, scoring five goals.

In addition to this, Ntumba has also enjoyed loan spells at Stalybridge Celtic, Boston United and Stafford Rangers.

Ntumba is a hard-working, powerful striker who we believe will perfectly compliment our style of play.

As such, we are delighted that Ntumba has agreed to join us and we will be catching up with him shortly to discuss the move.
