GALE DEPARTS FOR SCUNTHORPE UNITED

Macclesfield FC can confirm that forward James Gale has departed the Leasing.com Stadium, following the expiration of his contract. 

The 24-year-old made 25 appearances in all competitions last season for the Silkmen, providing eight goals along the way, including a memorable brace away at Darlington in March.

Gale has agreed terms with Enterprise National League side Scunthorpe United, and officially becomes an Iron following the expiry of his contract yesterday.

We would like to thank James for all his efforts with the Silkmen and wish him well for the future.
