CALLUM WEST SECURES PREMIER LEAGUE MOVE

18 May 2022 | First Team

Macclesfield FC can confirm that 16-year-old midfielder Callum West has secured a phenomenal move to Premier League side, Burnley.

After progressing through the youth ranks and into the First Team via our pathway system, there can be no doubting the fact that Callum has a very bright future ahead of him.

The deal has also seen the Football Club agree a compensation package that is aligned with Callum’s future progression.

Director of Football Robbie Savage stated –

“Whilst I am saddened to lose Callum, I am absolutely delighted that he has secured such a prestigious move.

“I have seen Callum develop into a player who has matured well beyond his years and I will be monitoring how he progresses at Turf Moor very closely.

“I wish both Callum and his family every success in the future.”
