The Silkmen stormed into the Emirates FA Cup First Qualifying Round yesterday, with a 4 – 2 victory at fellow Northern Premier League West Division side Mossley.
After falling behind to Andy Keogh’s low drive in the early exchanges, Danny Whitaker’s side fought back through strikes from James Berry, Alex Curran and Nicky Maynard.
Tyler Savage pulled a goal back for the hosts in the 76th minute, before Andy Owens settled the tie with a close-range effort.
