SILKMEN ANNOUNCE FIRST WAVE OF PRE-SEASON FRIENDLIES

Ahead of the 2022/23 campaign, Macclesfield FC can provisionally confirm the below pre-season friendly fixtures.

These all represent matches to be played at the Leasing.com Stadium.

5th July: Crewe Alexandra

9th July: Morecambe

12th July: West Bromwich Albion XI

16th July: Buxton

19th July: Matlock

26th July: Chorley

28th July: Blackpool

2nd August: FC United of Manchester

In addition to this, we can confirm that our Champions Cup game against the winners of the Macron Cup will be held on 23rd July. Should Danny Whitaker’s side claim a league and cup double, then it is thought that we will play Skelmersdale United by virtue of them finishing as league runners-up.

The Emirates FA Cup Preliminary Round will take place on 6th August, with our first league game set for 13th August.

Please note that the above fixtures are subject to change and we will provide all the build-up in due course.
